That is a really good looking pie!!! It’s beautiful! I just learned how to make pastry dough last weekend so I will have to break in the William-Sonoma pie dish we got for the wedding last year.

great blog! congrats to the latest member of the crazy American community!
now one question – how much in cups is 11oz of flour? seriously, I can’t make anything without following a recipe and am stumbling when thinking about measuring out 11oz of flour..is that like 2 1/2 cups?

i became a citizen myself a few months ago. you’re right, the ceremony was full of cheesiness, but there were definitely significant moments there that I say would surely make an American proud… Congratulations to Stephan… and of course, yummy apfel pie…
